Friday 18th November.

The Society     had its annual social at the Gardeners Arms Public House in Sompting.


The event was attended by around 36 members, a little disappointing, but those who were there had a great time, good food and a interesting quiz.

Sunday 13th November.

 Sunday the 13th November Slindon.

Arranged with the National Trust at Slindon and myself i undertook a walking tour of the First World War, and Second World War remains on the Estate.
The Airship Station WW1, German prisoner of War camps WW1, the WW1 Military Hospital located in Slindon House.
Some 30 members of the public booked for the tour, it was a great day, the sun was out, and everyone enjoyed their visit.

Another tour is to be arranged for the Spring to look at the other sites of interest.

A tour for the Society is being arranged for April. Non members welcome.

There will be a small charge of £2.per person, date will be announced soon , numbers restricted to 30.
