Flint Knapping Day.

Some twenty five members of the field unit attented the flint knapping day, Will Lord taught members how to make hand axes from flints aswell as other tools. The BBQ was very well receaved, and so far no tummy problems !!.

Saddlescoombe Farm visit,april 2007.

Members and friends of the society enjoyed a wonderful visit to Saddlescoombe Farm, this is owned by the National Trust. 20 members made up the group.
The weather was fine, hot and sunny all day, our visit lasted some three hours.
